This statement, attributed to Mr. Edison, is what we at First Chiropractic Center and Scotland Chiropractic strive to provide for our patients. In 1982, Dr. Thomas D. Stotz started the practice that has grown to include Dr. James C. Fitzgerald and Dr. Sheila K. Fitzgerald in 1993 and Dr. Thomas J. Stotz in 2006. We have provided safe, effective chiropractic care for over 20,000 different patients.
Because we are a group practice, we offer more choices as to the type of care you can receive. Dr. Stotz is a board certified Chiropractic Orthopedist, is certified to do impairment ratings and is certified in acupuncture. Dr. Jim Fitzgerald is certified in acupuncture and rehabilitation. Dr. Sheila Fitzgerald emphasizes nutrition, women’s health, and children in her practice. Dr. TJ Stotz is certified in whiplash and brain injury traumatology as well as forensic risk analysis in motor vehicle crashes. Dr's Jim Fitzgerald and TJ Stotz recently completed the Best Practices in Chiropractic Academy and are currently participating an associated low back pain study.
We are affiliated with First Fitness right next door which offers massage, weight training, a nautilus circuit, aerobic exercise classes, kick boxing, pilates, a cardio theater with treadmills, elliptical, stair steppers, bikes, and rowers, and an exclusive circuit training called PACE. Also now available at First Fitness -- Healing Touch Therapy by Marcy Pederson and Tweeter Hensler.
